Kaplan University's online Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and the online Master of Science in Nursing program are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accreditation agency, the CCNE is dedicated to the accreditation of bachelor- and graduate-level nursing programs. It is the same agency that accredits all the top nursing schools in the country.

CCNE accreditation ensures the quality and integrity of your nursing education. It gives students, employers, and other providers of nursing education the assurance that Kaplan University has met and continues to meet the rigorous standards required for accreditation. It also makes it easier to transfer credits to and from accredited schools. Only students graduating from accredited programs are eligible to sit for the national certification exams provided by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
