The Healthcare Management Certificate is designed to address the needs of the healthcare professional who has been placed in a management role. Traditionally, healthcare professionals have tremendous depth of education in their specialties. Now, however, there is an increasing demand for specialists with general management skills as well. Today’s healthcare managers must be aware of the dramatic changes in the areas of human resources, financial reimbursement, marketing, and legal and regulatory constraints. This certificate program affords an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals to examine the challenges in today’s healthcare industry and to work together to provide solutions to those challenges.??Each of the Healthcare Management courses consists of five classes. As with other New Dimensions courses, the certificate program is delivered in either an on-ground classroom format or in a “Blended” (on-ground and online) classroom format. As with other New Dimensions courses, Learning Teams are utilized to enhance the classroom learning. The Learning Team work can be completed either “on-ground” or online with the review of the Instructor.
