Location
The Art Institute of California - Hollywood is located in Los Angeles' Mid-Wilshire district at the crossroads of Southern California's design, fashion and entertainment industries.
Three miles to the east, downtown Los Angeles is home to one of the biggest fashion centers in the country. West Los Angeles and West Hollywood, where dozens of leading design firms are located, are a short drive away. And the San Fernando Valley -- just 20 minutes by subway -- is home to the world's largest concentration of entertainment and new media companies.

The Art Institute of California — Hollywood is located in what has recently developed into a thriving regional hub for the San Fernando Valley. This "urban village" is highly diverse and walkable, with its charming one-story bungalows, apartment buildings, galleries, cafes, and the presence of the eclectic NoHo Arts District, where creativity is expressed through the visual arts, dance, theater, and music. The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which presides over the Emmy Awards for excellent in television programming, is also located here.
