Degree Modes
A degree in adult and higher education prepares students to teach adults in either a continuing education or post-graduate setting. This includes vocational schools, colleges and universities, and corporate environments. Typically, an adult educator has a degree or work experience in a particular field. Earning an adult and higher education degree allows him or her to not only work in that field, but to teach others to work in it as well.
Adult and higher education students can earn a degree at any level from associate to Ph.D. The coursework prepares students to teach interesting classes, deliver exciting lectures, and provide informative training programs. Classes include adult growth and development, curriculum development, theories and practices of adult education, adult psychology, and communication.
