    Master of Science in Psychology

    Focus on the developmentally disabled, the autistic, and individuals with traumatic brain injuries. Utilize behavioral concepts and theories, and develop assessment and intervention skills.

    Master of Science in Psychology/General Psychology

    Examine broad aspects of psychology, including behavioral approaches, neuropsychology, psychopathology, and cognitive psychology. 

    Bachelor of Science in Communication

    The Bachelor of Science in Human Services program is designed to prepare you with the knowledge and skills to pursue a rewarding career in a wide variety of helping professions.* Students are taught to develop their talents, assess clients’ needs, identify community resources, and problem solve and advocate for their clientÑall with the goal of making a difference in the life of those unable to help themselves.     Bachelor of Science in Human Services/Child and Family Welfare

    Concentrate on the complexities of issues facing children and families in our society. Graduates may assess, evaluate, intervene, and re-evaluate social structures, such as adoption, foster care, child protection, and reunification, as they work with children and families.

    Bachelor of Science in Human Services/Gerontology

    Focus on the physical, mental, and psychosocial development of humans during the aging process. This emphasis area supports students with an interest in working directly with the growing aging population and as advocates for seniors in our society. The courses are designed to prepare graduates to work with the change process of aging and address how the aging population impacts social policy and program delivery.

    Bachelor of Science in Human Services/Human Services Administration

    Explore management and administrative roles within the human services arena.     Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Psychology-to-Master of Science in Psychology Option

    This accelerated option allows you to earn your Kaplan University Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Psychology at a faster pace and lower cost than completing each degree separately. Designed for high-potential undergraduate students interested in earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology, the accelerated option allows you to work toward your Bachelor of Science in Psychology while simultaneously completing four core courses in the Master of Science in Psychology. If you successfully complete these courses with a minimum course grade, and have applied and been accepted to the Kaplan University Master of Science in Psychology, you will enter a shortened version of the master’s degree program.     Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Development

    Associate of Applied Science in Educational Paraprofessional

    Educational paraprofessionalsÑteaching assistants or teacher aidesÑwork in a variety of classroom settings at the preschool, elementary, and high school levels. Kaplan University’s Associate of Applied Science in Educational Paraprofessional emphasizes teaching and learning theories, classroom and behavior management, instructional strategies in math, reading, and writing, and the diverse learning needs of English language learners and students receiving special education services.
